Midpoint Reflection Questions
How has the internship been the same as and/or different than your expectations?
I really didnt imagine how my internship would be, but I thought it would be tough or fun but it was ok in the beginning and now is getting boring.
What is similar and different about the culture of the school environment versus the workplace environment? What new skills have you learned that apply to the workplace?
The difference I see is that there no one giving you lessons about everything. There are things that you do at your own. For now I just do filing or coping so based on that what skill could I have learn.
What kind of relationship do you have with your mentor and co-workers? How have you grown as a result of interacting with professional adults?
My relationship with my mentor and co-worker is good so far they trust me and everything. I think as a result I am interacting with professional adults.
What challenges at the internship have you faced that you have overcome and how did you overcome them?
There is no challenge yet how can filing be a problem.
What challenges have you faced in school as a result of the altered schedule and how are you handling them?
I didnt face a challenge yet in school so I dont know what to say.
What goals are you working to accomplish during the remainder of the internship?
I am hoping to get something out of a good experience about life and much more.
What new things have you learned about New York City?
I have learned that if you now bussinessmen or women and you need to get hooked up with job or stuff like that they can hook you up.
